A few cabin pictures.

Yummy food for the grill(thank you Dodson sisters for all the fresh veggies to take camping) There is nothing like cabbage, onions, and bacon seasoned with butter, salt and pepper. **Click on pictures to enlarge

I woke up Saturday morning to the smell of fresh perked coffee and bacon frying! He doesn't cook breakfast often so it was a nice surprise. We were married 33 yrs on Friday, July 2nd... guess he is a keeper. ha

Our outdoor kitchen at the cabin.

I just love this old corn crib. We had one like this at our house when I was a child.

One of my favorite getaways. I LOVE this place.

Yep, His and Hers outhouses!

Steps to loft...the two bottom steps were from the orginal cabin.

No AC, no fans but the air flow through the well designed cabin was great.

One of two fireplaces in the cabin.

I love this old pickett fence around the mountain. My granny had one like this and I remember seeing her drape clothes over it to dry.

I decorated graves of great great grandparents and great grandma and great grandpa at an old family cemetery (my momma's side) in Owltown. The cemetery is located way back in the mountains of southern Wayne Co. KY.

Great Great Grandparents grave.
