Our simple little home

I live in a small house but I do try to make it "homey", and not junkie. I do have a lot of "treasures", some people call it junk(like my husband, when I have bought something that I really have to work hard to find a place to display, lol)
This picture was taken in October. I wished I had taken one while the trees were still full of color.

Sharing a Christmas Picture

This is my daughter and my "new" son-in-law(they got married in October).
We love him and my daughter seems so happy. They have so much fun.
She is still in Vet School, so they have spent very little time together. She will be finished Jan.22!! I know they will both be so happy.

A Few Of My Kitchen Collections

Well, it is Saturday, and I have so much to do...and here I sit. Shame on me. But, I just enjoy browsing through everyones blog. I love looking at all the neat "treasures" that others have and how they display them. I thought I would share some of mine with you all. My kitchen is my favorite place and I love my kitchen collections. I will share others later. enjoy!

My first entry!

What a wonderful day! My daughter drove over to spend the day with me.
We visited Linda's Quilt shop to buy some floss ( I am just learning to embroider and I love it!) and of course Ange had to have a really neat Christmas book with all kinds of decorating ideas and yummy recipes. (and it was marked down so that made it even better!)
Then we visited a unique little shop called Southern Accents and bought a candle that smelled good enough to eat!
We went to eat at a country buffet and of course eat to much but promised ourselves we would do better in the New Year.
Then we dropped by my favorite "junk" store. I spotted a neat pair of really old ice skates, that I might just have to have. They would make the coolest wintertime decoration.
Then we come home and had so much fun browsing through the book she got, making big plans to make several items before next Christmas.

She got ready to leave giving us all hugs. I reminded her that the next time we saw her she would be Dr. Ange. It is so hard to believe that she has almost made it. 10 long years and in 20 days she will be finished! Ready to live her dream. This is a picture of her with one of her patients.
