This is what I have started. I had not done chicken-scratch in years. Thought I would do this with a snowman and maybe use if for an apron. It will be for next winter. Ha. This is taking a lot of time. Stitches are not perfect do not look to close. Been a while since I have done this. Not sure if you can tell but it is homespun dark red/and dark cream.

It is beautiful!! I was reading about chicken scratch earlier and went online and found instructions and pictures and thought I maybe could do that. I like it. MB
I've never heard of chicken scratch before but it sure is pretty but looks very time comsuming? Very nice!
