Welcome to my Country home.

Wishing you a Happy New Year from Southern KY! I wanted to share some pics from my home to yours. A few I may have posted before. But I just took these this evening so they may look different with all the dust. ha.
Come see me in KY. We will have a cup of coffee and enjoy life.
*Just let me know a day or so in advance so I can take off from work, clear a path and blow off the dust. ha

"We Are Family"

We had a family reunion today. It was so nice seeing everyone. A few cousins I hadnt seen in years. We all use to have so much fun up on the mountain when Grandma and Grandpa was still alive. I sure miss those days.
Ange (my daughter) even got to come over...but you dont drive a truck with a vet box on it to a small town that does not have a large animal vet. She ended up doing coggins test on 6 horses and giving shots to a couple of dogs. The family just put her to work. ha. Oh well, just the life of a Vet. She loves it!

My Mom and her brothers and sisters. This is all that is left out of 16 children. (My Mom, white hair and demin outfit on)

This is a few of my first cousins

a few of the 2nd cousins

Ange and her 1st cousins(all but Ty and he would NOT have his picture made...he is two, need I say more?)

Yummy corn grown by Gardener Girl.

>

It is 10:45 p.m. and I still have work to do. I got 36 ears of corn from my friend Gardener Girl late yesterday. So this evening after work I had that job to do. I love cut off freezer corn but it sure does make a mess. In fact, my eyelashes even feel stiff from splatters of corn. ha.

Farmer's Market

On Saturday I visited Farmers Market. I LOVE going there. Brought my Market Basket home full and only spent about 14.00! Potatoes, Squash, Green peppers, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, a large Cabbage head, Sugar Plums, some yummy homemade potpourri and wonderful fellowship with friends!
*don't ck out the corn splatters I might have missed. You know you can always find a speck of corn somewhere weeks later. ha...but dont you just love that fresh corn!
